Global Aid Network’s whole purpose is to give and provide sustainability to the world’s most poor so they have more. MORE water,MORE food, and MORE employment for every man, woman, and child. These are people, not statistics. So for that reason, we give so their lives have MORE hope and MORE dignity, giving us MORE opportunities to share the gospel. GAiN is not about us. It’s about them. Giving for their gain. Giving for their FUTURE.
Born from a humanitarian outreach of the Josh McDowell Ministry to the former Soviet Union, Global Aid Network (GAiN) was launched in September 2003. Under Josh McDowell’s leadership from the 1990s to 2003, this outreach, known as Operation Carelift, ministered to thousands of men, women, and children in the wake of the economic hardship left after the Soviet Union’s dissolution. Upon becoming a separate agency in 2003, GAiN joined networks with other like-minded offices to become what is now GAiN Worldwide. Today, independent GAiN resource offices are located in Canada, Philippines, Germany, Holland, Korea, Australia, Austria and Spain.
