Food and Medical Relief

What is the Food and Medical Relief Program?

GAiN PH’s Food and Medical Relief is a program that translates through medical missions in different provinces and communities in the Philippines and beyond.

When we do medical missions, we gather a team of health care professionals and other volunteers and travel to remote areas where people lack access to medicines, health education, and basic healthcare services.

Aside from conducting basic checkups, distributing medicines, and holding health workshops and lectures, each medical mission is an opportunity for us to share God’s love with people. We run Bible-based activities for children and connect our patients to local churches and believers.

Our medical missions are usually in partnership with GAiN Australia, as well as local churches and other organizations of the places where we hold our medical missions.

What Happens During Our Medical Missions?

Our medical missions to various communities are also opportunities to share various health practices, including:

  • Hygiene
  • Clean water

We also provide

  • Potable water systems
  • LuoPads (handmade, washable feminine pads)

Can I do medical mission in the Philippines even if I’m not a medical professional?

Anyone can be a part of our medical missions! You don’t need to be a medical professional or have a medical background. You just need to be willing to serve God and let Him use you.

Aside from medical professionals, we also need other people during our medical missions. Think admin staff, volunteers for our children’s ministry, translators, crowd control/security personnel, counsellors, and more.

Get involved with our medical missions.
