On April 21 to 24, 2024, GAiN PH participated in a vision clinic organized by GAiN USA in Laos.

It was a pleasant trip for Rod and Malou Santos of GAiN PH who got to see their daughter Bethel Joy Santos. Bethel flew to Laos in 2023 to work as a school teacher under GAiN Korea. The three of them joined the 4-day vision clinic along with the American volunteers. They measured eye grades and gave out reading glasses that fit each villager that came. And they were able to give out around 700 eyeglasses.
Communication was a challenge but with the help of interpreters they were able to chat with the residents and shared the hope in God even as they suffer in poverty.

The vision clinic was held at Meung Fueang, south of Vientiane City, where they stayed with the local volunteers for three days. This was in coordination with a government hospital in the community.
