Super Typhoon Egay ravages Luzon in July 2023. Farmers in Ilocos Norte are most affected as they have lost their crops, livestock, food supply, and for some, their homes. GAiN PH responds to their plea by visiting the villages and donating fertilizers and construction materials.

GAiN PH President, Rod Santos, travelled to Ilocos Norte on August 6, 2023, with Pastor Ojie Bumanglag (our local contact in Ilocos Norte) to reach the affected communities and bring relief by contributing for the farmer’s livelihood needs and assisting in community rehabilitation.

Distribution and site visits were done in three days to three different communities. The beneficiaries are listed as follows:

GREAT COMMISSION MINISTRY

The Great Commission Ministry led by Pastor Moody Dumlao held a turnover ceremony in Saud, Pagudpod, Ilocos Norte. Sacks of fertilizer and galvanized iron roofing were distributed among 17 beneficiaries.
