As we remembered our departed ones during the holidays, GAiN PH sets out for a values formation project in Mindanao to encourage community leaders on their soul care retreat, held on November 2-4, 2023 at the greenery and fresh ambiance of Harmony Village – Pitogo, Sinunuc, Zamboanga City.
GAiN Ph President Rod Santos together with Malou, his beautiful behalf and GAiN staff, were joyfully welcomed by the Zamboanga partners over a meal upon their arrival on November 1.
During the soul care conference, Rod and Malou Santos both gave their talks among the 10 participants who occupy leadership roles in their respective communities across Mindanao. Malou shared her heart from being emotionally broken to becoming responsive to God’s love and healing. And Rod spoke on the role of silence and contemplation in our wholeness and inner healing.
It is important to remember the departed souls of loved ones and more so to care for living souls, revealing hope to them through relief and development initiatives.
